Stacy Stephenson
Stacy Stephenson, a native of Lubbock is a graduate of Coronado High School. Her honors include membership in the Texas All-State Orchestra and having performed as a soloist with orchestra in New Orleans Historic Orphium Theatre. As a member of the National Youth Symphony Orchestra she made her Carnegie Hall debut at 18 under the direction of Lukas Foss. As a student at Texas Tech University she studied viola under Renee' Moore-Sherik, Ralph Fielding, Setareh Behesti and Margaret Brown.
Stacy has performed with several orchestras across Texas and New Mexico including such notables as The Trans- Siberian Orchestra and The Joffery Ballet Company. Ms. Stephenson is currently involved with the Lubbock Youth Symphony Orchestra as a private instructor for scholarship student. As a founding member of The Staccato Dots String Quartet, 2009 will mark her 10 year anniversary performing with the quartet along side Violinist Lucas Carter.
Stacy enjoys spending her spare time with her cat and rabbit and training for half marathons.
